Alfresco Registration Add-on

New addon for Alfresco was developed by our team.

It allows users to create new account in Alfresco by themself.

Registration addon contains the following features:

  • New button to create account on login screen
  • New page to register user
  • Email Notifications
  • New page to configure checking of new users by some group, new user will be created only after reviewing. This page is allowed in Admin Tools
  • New Dashlet that displays all users, which were trying to create new account in Alfresco. It is available for admins only.

    I m getting this message when i try to register as new user "sorry.Internal error. Notify adminstrator.

    It is hard to say where is reason of the problem without additional details about error... Maybe you didn't configure outbound email... You may ping me in the skype (s.palyukh) and I will try to help

    Hi, where are the sources of the plugin? The code can be partially retrieved by uncompressing the plugins, but registration-repo.jar is already in bytecode (contains Sudo and PasswordGenerator classes).

      Hi, we didn't test this addon with alfresco 5.2. Alfresco 5.2 changed a design of login page, so this addon can be not working, maybe it requires some changes in the source code.

    Template doesn't exist by the following xpath: ./app:dictionary/app:email_templates/cm:registration-templates/cm:approved-user.ftl

      It means that something went wrong and email template wasn't bootstrapped. Try to use the latest versions of amps at the vanilla alfresco installation:

      If it works correctly then there is some conflict with other customizations already installed. Also, please don't forget to configure alfresco for outgoing emails:

    I have installed Alfresco using bitnami.
    And I have done this as a root user in ubuntu machine.
    After installing registation add ons,
    I am seeing HttpConnectionexception and not able to login to Alfresco web application.
